Privacy Policy
Last updated 21 October 2026
This is the privacy policy for keys2clearlake.com, the website of Tanner Braun, a licensed real estate agent in Iowa, brokered by Hall Realty. It describes what the site collects, what is done with it, and how to have it removed.
When you fill in a form
The site has several enquiry forms — contact, home valuation, guide downloads and property enquiries. When you submit one, it records what you typed: typically your name, email address, phone number and your message.
Alongside it, the site records your IP address, the country it resolves to, the page you submitted from and your browser’s user-agent string. These are kept to tell a genuine enquiry from automated spam, and for no other purpose.
Enquiries are used to reply to you. If you requested a guide, it is emailed to the address you gave. Email is sent through Resend, which handles delivery on our behalf.
What is collected automatically
The site uses Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to count visits and see which pages are read. This sets cookies and shares usage data with Google. It is used to understand traffic, not to identify you personally.
The site also uses the Meta Pixel, from Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram. It records which pages are viewed so that ads on Facebook and Instagram can be measured and shown to people who have visited this site. It sets cookies and shares that usage data with Meta; it does not share what you write in a form. You can control how Meta uses it in your Facebook ad preferences, or by blocking third-party cookies in your browser.
Forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than a script.
What is never done with it
Your information is not sold, rented or traded. It is not passed to other agents, lenders or marketing companies. It is used to answer you and to run this business, and that is all.
Staff accounts, and connected Google, Microsoft and Apple data
This section applies only to the two members of staff who sign in to administer this site. It does not apply to visitors.
A signed-in staff member may connect their own Google, Microsoft or Apple account so that their contacts, calendar and recent email activity appear on their own dashboard. When they do:
Email is read as headers only — sender, recipient, subject and date. The permissions requested do not allow message content to be read, and no message body is ever retrieved or stored. Contacts and calendar entries are read so the dashboard can show who is due a call and what is already booked.
This data is visible only to the staff member whose account it came from. It is not shared with anyone, is not used for advertising, is not sold, and is not used to train any model. A staff member can disconnect an account at any time, which stops the sync and removes the stored copy. Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Where a staff member installs the optional helper that brings their text-message history onto their dashboard, it reads only conversations with people already in their contacts on this site. Everything else on that computer is never read and never sent.
How long it is kept
Enquiries are kept for as long as they are useful for following up, and removed on request. Analytics data is kept according to Google’s own retention settings.
Having your information removed
You can ask for a copy of what is held about you, or ask for it to be deleted, at any time. Get in touch through the contact page and say so.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be explained on this page rather than made quietly.
